The Pisetta's family has been in the porphyry extraction world for 4 generations,
stretching over half a century. In 1980s, a labour branch was added to the extraction
company, leading to what is today “Girasole Porfidi”, a young and enthusiastic newly
found company, aiming to be different in a more-than-ever competitive market.
Thanks to this vision a new porphyry coating product is now a reality: the PORFITE ©. To the Company's management this is a true milestone which must lead to a whole new range of products in the very next future, for internal and external design alike.
The wings of the butterfly of porphyry, trademark of the company world leader in natural porphyry stone manufaction, are named after “Nature” and “Culture” to testify Italy's world role in the furnishing complements tradition and design.
